  Vancouver Airport is a fairly smooth running airport. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, especially the information assistants. Everything is fairly well sign posted in both French and English. There is lots of seating and lots of places to plug your devices in once you are through security and waiting at the gate. The restaurant choices especially in the international departures before security are very poor! Unless you want fast food you have two choices both are over priced and the food is mediocre. The choices on the other side are not much better, it will be particularly difficulty to find some good food at a sit down place if you are vegetarian/vegan. For the size of the place I feel they should focus a little more on food options as apposed to giant duty free stores offering nothing new or different.

  A really beautiful, stunning airport. A wonderful, enchanting atmosphere like the Canadian wilderness. Great restaurants, lovely shops, efficient customs process. Voted North America's best airport for good reason.

  If you’re hungry at Vancouver International airport & nothing’s open, BIG URBAN CAFE down by gates C44, 45 & 46 is a very great choice.

  We've always enjoyed our experiences at the Vancouver airport but the latest changes on the D Concourse have really improved it even more. It's clean and Airy and refreshing, it even feels fairly natural. There's lots of plant life and a little stream with a bit of a bridge and an aquarium. It's really a nice relaxing place to be..

  Leaving yvr to the U.S took so long. The line didn't seem too bad compared to some other airports, maybe about 50 people in front of me but it moved inch by inch. They only had two security lines open for baggage check. They don't seem very efficient. The public transportation connecting the airport to downtown is great. It's easy to use and the trains come often and takes less then 30 minutes depending on your stop. Leaving yvr to the U.S took so long.

  I’ve never had more pleasant, friendly or professional service at ANY airport cafe or restaurant & the pastries there are very fresh & better product for the money!
