  Flight was delayed and I was expecting to pick up my car. Well, the only major rental agency who closed down and wasn't servicing customers was Hertz. So instead of driving to Whistler and having a great time I slept in the airport for 6 hours waiting for the desk to reopen.

  I'm a loyal Hertz customer and use them over Enterprise 1-3x per month. That said, there's a reason this particular Hertz location has a 1.9 star rating as of today. None of the employees that I encountered were anywhere close to friendly. They all seemed like they were ready to get out of there and hated their jobs. Not a single smile, thank you, etc.. On top of that, my vehicle had a very strong odor of marijuana that did not subside for almost 2 days.

  The representatives were really kind and friendly. We had some troubles with the car because we were supposed to deliver it in USA and they had the kindness to make the communication, instead of us, with their colleagues in California. Thanks to them we figured out what we had to do.

  Was a little nervous returning rental after reading other reviews but it was super quick and easy. Staff member was very friendly.

  Use Avis at this location. They had two agents at the desk even at 12:30 AM. They seemed to have a much larger fleet as well.
