  We booked thrifty rental car through argus car hire and we already made the payment 435 CAD through it. When we went to the airport for pick up and they charged us 303 CAD additionally as fuel and location charge. Also, they tried to make payment without our approval or any notifications 103 CAD from our bank account after we returned our car to the airport. I tried to reach the billing department and it took me an hour to connect them. Two of my calls were hung up intentionally by the staff. They should have educated their staff for the customer service. They are trying to rip you off so be ware of it if you already hired. I am not gonna use this company never ever again!

  STAY AWAY. Terrible company. Making money through extortion, just take a look at all the other reviews. They should be investigated and shut down. Go to another rental company and save yourself the hassle.

  I had a great experience. The person at the counter was very helpful explaining the add-ons and options I had and respectful when I declined. The sales weren't very pushy like some other places I've been to.

  They charged me $1142 for a scratch to the front bumper that I didn't do. The agent who handed me the the car didn't not show me the car and I assumed that the car was in good conditions. However, when I returned the car, there was a scratch to the front bumper that I didn't notice when I got the car. This company group (Dollar, Thrifty, and Hertz) is a big scammer, they appear to have competitive prices, but they take the money from you in different ways.

  I had a problem with a car and had to go to this location for help. Was nervous after reading the negative reviews that it would be a nightmare. They were awesome, took care of my problem and relieved a lot of stress. I realize now that the only people who post reviews are the ones who have the rare bad experience. Good experiences go unreported because the process is so frictionless. The manager mentioned to me that they have 17000 cars on the road in Vancouver. So 40 unhappy people is a negligible amount. Be cool, respect the contract and pay attention when booking through third parties and this will be a good experience.
