    I was asked by Home Depot for my experience in buying a shed, I sent the following, the next day I got a 2nd email saying they wouldn't be using it, easy to look good when you won't accept true negative experiences.

    There is a lovely gentleman by the name of Neil that works here. We had a problem with a purchase and no one was willing to help us... every staff we asked pushed us onto the next staff and we were so frustrated that we went home after receiving no help for 40 minutes.

    I tried buying this shed on line, but it was only available in store, but no store in my area had any nor would they bring them in from another store that had stock. I phoned my local store, the person I spoke to had less of an idea how her company worked than I did. I continued searching for a shed and suddenly this one was NOW available for shipping to my home. I paid for it immediately and received a confirmation and a tracking number. After a week of trying the tracking number, and it not being able to track my shed, I phoned customer service, slowest thing ever, should be called customer frustration. I waited 10 minutes to ask someone to track it for me, they said it was backed up in whatever department tracks and said he would put me on hold. TWENTY FIVE MINUTES later he came back and said I should be able to track it in about 5 days, and also gave me the name of the carrier. I again had no luck tracking the shipment, and so called the carrier. I had to leave a message because no one picked up the call. They did call back and left a message the next day and gave me a different tracking number and asked I call them back quoting the number so they could deliver the shed. I tried, but saying it was okay to deliver the shed was not good enough, they needed to hear it live. Thus continued for 3 more days with no one ever picking up the phone, only voice mail. Finally we spoke and now it would be the following week before they could bring it, shipping was not included by the way, so you be the judge. This supposedly reputable company sucked at every turn for customer service and satisfaction.

    Highly recommend everyone to avoid this location as much as possible. If you have questions about certain products, they wont help you, but instead will tell you to "youtube it". Two employees that day told me those exact words when I asked for their help. If that was the case, I would've used my amazon prime account and had it shipped to me instead of wasting my time and gas to come to this location. This was a horrible experience and I never want to come back. Home depot needs to educate their employees on how to better serve their customers.

    We have been working in the Richmond area for a couple months on a renovation and I have been to this location several times. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. The store is always clean, organized and well stocked. We recently had an issue with some machinery we had just purchased, which was stressful because we’re working on a tight timeline.. anyways, customer service was handled perfectly! The manager directed us to Ali who was friendly, understanding and knowledgeable. Our problem turned into a quick fix and we were happy and back on the job. It’s so refreshing to find quality service! Good job :)

    Overall, the staff are pretty good while all large companies have their fair share of deadbeat staff I still think Rona takes the award 100% for the dead beat department because at least Home Depot has knowledgeable people to a higher degree than other building places. The Home Depot return policy is exceptionally generous and tolerant for many who completely abuse honor and integrity. The store is open past times when most if not all professional suppliers are closed so with the exception of certain specialty items that are not so popular to put on the shelf, the Home Depot does a pretty good job of putting things together for their customers

    We came the next morning as soon as the store opened and Neil helped us with tremendous patience. At a large store like this one, it is often hard to find responsible staff who are attentive and patient. Neil went above and beyond and I hope management takes notice of this wonderful worker. Thank you Neil!
